X-ring materials / Main types Due to the wide range of synthetic elastomers that are available on the market, X-ring material can be made to withstand temperatures from minus 50° C up to plus 240 C. to serve a wide range on fluid environments. Nevertheless all combinations of material do not behave alike. Therefore, we include a table to provide an overview of standard materials and the proper diameter data with reference to relevant applications.
